Let Jesus Be the Gift You Give This Christmas!

Christmas is such a joyful time, a season for giving, sharing, and celebrating the miraculous birth of Jesus, the Savior of the world. As you spend time with family and friends, remember that the most meaningful gift you can give isn’t wrapped in pretty paper or tied with bows. It’s the gift of Jesus, who brings salvation, freedom from sin, and the promise of eternal life, priceless gifts that will last forever.

Jesus: The Fulfillment of God's Promise

Have you ever stopped to think about what makes Christmas truly special? It's not just the lights that decorate homes and Christmas trees or the presents under the tree (those are fun, too). The heart of Christmas is Jesus, our Prince of Peace, Light of the World, and Savior.  He is the ultimate gift your heart truly needs.  Jesus loves you more than you can imagine and has an incredible plan for your life.  This Christmas, embrace His love, forgiveness, and the promise of eternal life.  Let Him fill your heart with joy and peace today and every day.

Jesus' birth fulfilled God's promises. Isaiah 9:6 says, "For a child is born to us, a son is given to us... And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." These names reveal so much about who Jesus is and what He offers.

The Prophetic Names of Jesus

Wonderful Counselor (Pele Yo'etz) Jesus is full of wisdom and guidance. He created the universe and also guides your life. Even in life’s most challenging moments, Jesus can help you make decisions and find your way. His promises are trustworthy, and His guidance will never fail.

Mighty God (El Gibbor) Jesus is our Mighty God, our Warrior and Champion with unmatched power! He is stronger than any fear, problem, or enemy we face. He fights for you whenever you feel weak or unsure.

Everlasting Father (Avi’ad) When Jesus was on earth, He told His disciples, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” John 14:9 (NIV). Jesus shows us the Father’s deep and unchanging love. His care for us is endless, and He provides for us, protects us, and loves us unconditionally.

Prince of Peace (Sar Shalom) Jesus offers a peace that the world cannot give. When life feels overwhelming, He calms our fears, guides us through every challenge, and gives us hope.

These prophetic names of Jesus, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace, are rich in Hebrew meaning. They tell us just how incredible and miraculous Jesus is. Each one reveals something about His character and His love for us.

This Christmas, think about how you can share these truths with others. Invite someone to experience the joy of knowing Jesus, who brings wisdom, strength, love, and peace. There’s no greater gift you can give this Christ than Jesus.

Jesus is God's Greatest Gift of Love

God's love is shown in the most incredible way through His Son, Jesus. Jesus' life, death, and resurrection offer eternal life, hope, peace, and joy to all who believe. No gift compares to this. While we exchange presents with family and friends, remember the eternal gift God gave us: His Son, Jesus. Sharing this gift with others is the greatest joy of Christmas.

Be God's Light This Christmas

As you celebrate Christmas, remember that you are called to be the light of the world. You can share the love, peace, and hope found in Jesus through your words and actions. You can also reflect His character by showing kindness, love, and grace.

The Eternal Gift That Changes Everything

Take a moment to reflect on the greatest gift ever given, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Whether you know Him deeply or you are just beginning to understand who He is. His love, His life, and death on the cross. He offers eternal life, hope, peace, and a deep sense of joy to all who believe in Him and receive Him. Jesus' miraculous birth, sinless life, sacrificial death, and triumphant resurrection reveal an unconditional love that offers eternal salvation, transforming lives and filling our hearts with glorious, inexpressible joy. As Peter encouraged believers in his day, "Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy." 1 Peter 1:8 (NIV) Peter knew the joy in their heart was evident, surpassing all understanding.

Jesus is the gift that never fades, never breaks, and never loses its value.  His love reaches the depths of our souls, His peace calms fears, and His presence shines light into the darkest areas of our lives.  He meets every need, mends every wound, and changes everything.

If you're unsure what it means to have a relationship with Jesus, Christmas is the perfect time to experience His love. Ask Him into your heart, and you'll begin a journey of transformation. The Bible says, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the  dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 (NKJV)

With a simple prayer, you can ask Jesus to come into your heart, forgive your sins, and be the Lord of your life.  This marks the beginning of your journey as part of God's family, living as His beloved child.

Pray this prayer:

Heavenly Father, I believe Your Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive me for my sins. I surrender my life to You.  Come into my heart and life and be Lord over my life. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, take a moment to tell someone about your decision and consider visiting a local church in your neighborhood to grow in your faith.

May your Christmas bring the peace of God, the joy of knowing Him, and the hope of eternal life with Jesus.  Enjoy your family, friends, gifts, festive foods, and yummy desserts, but most importantly, take the time to spend quiet time reading the Bible and praying to your Savior and Friend, Jesus Christ.

If you're curious about who Jesus is, start with the Gospel of John. Talk to Him in prayer. He's always listening and ready to meet you where you are.  Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you and experience His love and care for you in a personal way.

Celebrate the Gift of Jesus

As you celebrate with loved ones this Christmas, remember the gift that changed everything: Jesus. May His love inspire your giving, His peace anchor your joy, and His salvation be the gift you offer to everyone you meet.

May the joy of Jesus' birth fill your heart with wonder, and may His unfailing love lead you to shine through you, proclaiming: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given... And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 (NLT)

Jesus is our Savior, Redeemer, the Light of the World, and the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.  Let giving God's gift, Jesus, be at the heart of your Christmas celebrations and every season of your life.

 Merry Christmas!
